CONTEST RULES for D.M.E. Music Group's 1st Mix Tape Series "The Diamond Vault":

The contest is open to musicians of all ages and genders, who are serious about their craft and are interested in promoting their music. The contest is limited to the following genres: Hip Hop/Rap, Neo Soul/Indie, Pop, and R&B. Each submission requires an administration fee of $11, payable through PayPal or Zelle. Other payment options may be available upon request. Submissions must be in the form of MP3 or MP4 files, and must include the title of the track, the artist name, headshot, and IG handle. Maximum of three (3) entries per artist. The submission period begins on May 15, 2023, and ends on July 1, 2023. Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered. All submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges, who will select a group of finalists. The finalists will be announced on July 8, 2023, and will be included in the mix tape. The finalists will automatically be entered into a social media contest, where the public will vote on their favorite songs. The social media voting period begins on July 15, 2023, and ends on August 5, 2023. The winners will be selected by the amount of votes received in each genre. There will be a first, second, and third place winner for each genre.

The winners of the contest will receive the following prizes:

1st place:

- 6-8 hours of studio time ($350 value)

- 30 days of social media promotion

- 90 days of website promotion

- 1 hour professional photo shoot

- 1 mini video shoot

2nd place:

- 60 days of website promotion

- 45 minute professional photo shoot

3rd place:

- 30 days of website promotion

- 30 minute professional photo shoot

By submitting their music, artists agree to allow D.M.E. Music Group to use their tracks for promotional purposes. If selected for the project, artists will be required to forward their original recording files. D.M.E. Music Group reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not meet the criteria outlined in these rules, or that is deemed inappropriate or offensive.
